The Club is managed by a small team of volunteers that deal with the day to day running of the club; these are the people who make sure games and training is set up, so if you’ve got any feedback or questions you can message us!
Leah has been a member of the club for many years; she plays for the Women’sl team and last season took on the role of coach for not only the foundation team, but also the men’s team and the women’s team. Leah’s commitment to the club was recognised at our 2019 awards and she is highly valued by everyone. Leah continues to arrange the Kent league fixtures for the club. More recently she has been recognised by Volleyball England, by winning the Serena Morten Safeguarding Award.
Lewis plays for the Men’s Kent League team and also coaches our Junior team. Since Lewis has taken on the role for coaching the Juniors, they have developed their skills greatly, some even being invited to join the foundation training and games. Lewis has made sure that the Juniors have good connections and they have even entered multiple mini leagues with other junior teams across Kent. Last season he coached them through the South East Volleyball Association (SEVA) grand prix series, with our team coming away with first place.
Nicole joined the club in 2018 with the foundation team. Since then she has become a regular volunteer to the club, attending most games for foundation, men and women team as a player, offer support and play photographer at the games. She has now taken on the communications role, so keep and eye out for all the latest updates on what happening with the club; she’ll be the one to keep you updated.
Ida is the current Middle player for our Women’s team. Ida has progressed quickly within the club and won Player of Year for the women’s team during the 2019 awards, as voted for by her team members. Now Ida is helping the club out with finances, she’ll make sure the club stays in the black
Alice has been a dedicated member of the team for years. Currently a members of the club’s Women’s Kent League team, she’s also the star setter. She often helps out with the junior, foundation and men’s training.
Holly began playing at Maidstone with the junior team, before progressing to foundation and later the NVL women’s team. She has also trained with the South East under 17s regional team and attended national junior tryouts. As well as playing at Maidstone, Holly also trains with the Polonia advanced junior team.
